Meet Isabela (Izzy) Kaarto, a Finnish-Filipino American! She graduated from Texas A&M University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in University Studies - Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction. She also obtained a minor in Horticulture and Sustainable Architecture. She also took part as the Public Relations Director, a Public Relations Recruitment Committee Member, and Social Committee member for her women’s organization. During her time at Texas A&M, she was apart of A-LINE Magazine as a graphic designer, which led her to her role as Assistant Graphic Designer for the 7th Edition of TINGS Magazine.

She is now a Design Assistant and Social Media Coordinator at Statera Interiors, LLC, a Dallas-based interior design company. She began her role here as a Design Intern, before landing a position. She is working on interior design projects while also putting on her social media cap to run their social platforms. She is currently working on a complete rebrand for their client-facing and B2B material! Stay tuned…

Besides her current role, she is actively seeking other opportunities! Apart from work, she is active at her gym, takes care of dogs during her free time, and volunteers at the dog shelter and food bank.  She also loves to cook, read, and watch movies (she rates them on Letterboxd)!
