Meet Isabela (Izzy) Kaarto, a Finnish-Filipino American! She graduated from Texas A&M University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in University Studies - Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction. She also obtained a minor in Horticulture and Sustainable Architecture. She took part as the Public Relations Director, a Public Relations Recruitment Committee Member, and Social Committee member for her women’s organization at Texas A&M University known as Maggies. During her time at Texas A&M, she was apart of A-LINE Magazine as a graphic designer, which led her to her role as Assistant Graphic Designer for the 7th Edition of TINGS Magazine.

She completed an internship with Statera Interiors, LLC before earning the role as Part-Time Design Assistant and Social Media Coordinator. Statera Interiors is a Dallas-based interior design company serving much of the greater DFW area. During her time, she focused on curating Statera Interiors’ voice on social media, rebranding their social media content to match their clientele. She reworked their B2C facing items, such as their “Furniture Selection” Presentation and “Our Approach” Presentation.

After her role at Statera Interiors, she landed a Full-Time Position at Lynx Systems as their Marketing Coordinator. She runs marketing campaigns, manages their LinkedIn, provides support to the Sales Team, plans and hosts company wide events, amongst many other tasks!

Apart from work, she is active at her gym, takes care of dogs during her free time, and volunteers at the dog shelter and food bank.  She also loves to cook, read, and watch movies (she rates them on Letterboxd)! You can find her in the pilates studio or climbing gym in the evening. She loves fashion, often using it as a creative outlook. She is also deeply interested in Women’s Sports! She loves the PWHL, the WNBA, and Unrivaled.
